1. Our services

The Arabish provides online one-to-one tutoring in Arabic and English through live video sessions, including Quranic Arabic, conversational Arabic, spoken English and grammar. Lessons are offered individually or in monthly packages.

2. Eligibility

Students of all ages may take lessons. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian who books, pays and is responsible for them.

3. Booking and scheduling

• Lessons are booked through our website or by agreement with us by email or WhatsApp.
• A booking is confirmed once payment is received and we confirm the time.
• Times are agreed in the student's stated time zone. Please check it carefully when booking.

4. Fees and payment

• Prices are shown on our website or quoted to you, and are payable in advance.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You are responsible for any bank, card or mobile money charges they apply.
• Monthly packages cover the number of lessons stated at purchase, for the month in which they are bought.
• We may change our prices at any time; changes do not affect lessons already paid for.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

• You may cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
• Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows may be counted as a lesson taken.
• If the student is more than 15 minutes late without notice, we may treat the lesson as missed.
• If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer a new time or a replacement lesson.
• Unused lessons in a monthly package expire at the end of the package month unless we agree otherwise.

6. What you need for lessons

You are responsible for a stable internet connection, a suitable device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet place to learn. Lessons disrupted by problems on your side may not be made up.

7. Student conduct

Students and parents should treat the tutor with respect. We may end lessons without refund for abusive, inappropriate or disruptive behaviour. Parents of young children are encouraged to be nearby during lessons.

8. Recordings and materials

Lessons are not recorded without your agreement. Teaching materials we provide are for the student's personal use and may not be copied, shared or resold.

9. No guarantee of results

We teach to the best of our ability, but progress depends on many factors, including practice and attendance. We cannot guarantee specific results, grades or fluency levels.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for interruptions caused by events outside our control such as internet or power failures. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected lessons.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to bookings made after the "Last updated" date.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We will always try to resolve complaints informally first.
